BUYER INFORMATION

The Whole Bead Show, Inc.® is open to the public, both retail and wholesale, for an admission fee of $5.00, good for the duration of the show. Registration is at the door. Wholesale buyers need to bring a resale license and business card to be registered as a wholesale buyer.

Please Note: The Whole Bead Show, Inc.® merchants have paid for the privilege of displaying and selling. Non-exhibitors distributing brochures, flyers, or attempting to sell merchandise, will be asked to leave the show.

Why you need to show your resale license at the door, if you have one:

We are required by the state as trade show promoters to check for a resale license and register our customers accordingly. This ensures that our merchants know who is shopping as a wholesale buyer.

Our registration process is an initial filtration system. If you are not registered as a wholesale buyer at the door with the proper paperwork, then you may address each merchant as you shop and explain your situation. They can then make their own decision whether they should charge you tax.

If you do not pay tax when you buy beads, then you must charge tax when you sell them. The State has to get their money somewhere in your transactions. It does not matter what form you re-sell them, be it jewelry or strands.
